View your script by Page (counted in 1/8 page), or by Time (estimated duration in 30 second lengths).
Standard measurement is 1 page equals 1 minute of film. This is valid for the complete screenplay, with dialogues and detailed descriptions.
At first though, screenwriters still have no written pages, only ideas and indications of what the scenes will be like.
At this stage (creating the story) it is useful to use Time view.
Estimate approximately the duration of each scene and get a better notion of your script’s size.

Below, the same excerpt viewed in time. Notice how all the scenes are equal in size. 30 seconds is the initial duration of all the scenes.
